I’ve been quite busy the last week or two and haven’t had a lot of time to update the site with new content but it’s been quite a good week nevertheless. Most of my time has been taken up writing for a new client, The Writing Den. As you know, there are a large number of content providers online who offer articles and blog content to websites who need this on a high volume basis where they simply don’t have the resources to produce this internally. Much of this is optimised for search engines and needs to be written quickly and to high standards. I’ve now started working with The Writing Den to produce content for them and while it can be quite intensive and isn’t the most lucrative areas of work for a writer it is a high volume field and from what I have seen, they do treat their writers better than most.
It’s been quite a challenge writing in fields that are new to me, but incredibly rewarding and enjoyable at the same time… although turning around 20 pieces in a week alongside other work isn’t easy!
At the same time, work for Computers and Comics has continued. I’m now managing their Twitter page, have implemented a comic subscription and online payments page, a mobile version of their site and written content for their site so things have been developing well with that site.
And if that wasn’t enough to keep me going, I’m working on original content to license through this site in a few days time…
